What We Believe
We believe...
We believe God reveals Himself to man through the Bible, His word. It is verbally inspired and there are absolutely no mistakes in the original documents.
We believe only the Bible is infallible, provides sufficient instruction for living life to its fullest, and reflects God’s authority over man. We believe there is only one true God. He is an infinite, perfect, all-knowing Spirit. He is one God, who exists eternally in three Persons -the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each equally deserves the worship and obedience of all men and women.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, His miracles, His dying on the cross, His shedding His blood for the sins of mankind, and in His bodily resurrection from the dead. We affirm He ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return in power and glory.
We believe man is sinful by nature and out of fellowship with God. Man is saved or brought back into fellowship with God only by the power of the Holy Spirit. God does this by using His Word to accomplish the reconciliation when a repenting sinner responds in faith. Salvation or being brought back into fellowship to God is completely by God’s grace on the basis of the redeeming work of Jesus Christ on the cross. It cannot be accomplished by human effort or work.
We believe in the Spirit-filled life. As God’s supernatural agent in restoring people to fellowship with God, the Holy Spirit baptizes believers into the Body of Christ at the moment of salvation. The Holy Spirit indwells, instructs, and empowers them for service. He is God’s “seal of approval” and guarantee they have a part in His redemption.
We believe God rewards the saved (those whose fellowship with God has been restored) by granting them eternal life and the unsaved will experience eternal separation from God..
We believe all whose fellowship with God has been restored by faith in Jesus are immediately placed by the Holy Spirit into one united spiritual Body, the church, of which Jesus is the head. The purpose of the church is to glorify God, provide fellowship for the restored, instruction in the word, encouragement, to share the gospel with the world and make disciples.
